Purpose of the game

An exam session becomes a competition: points for studying consistently, passing exams, helping a classmate. No negative points for failing: the focus is on effort and support, not failure. A community that supports each other through the hardest tests.

How to play

At the start of exam session, a student creates the game for the group. Everyone signs up with their list of exams. During the session, everyone shares when they pass an exam (+5), when they almost failed but fought back (+3), when they help a classmate study (+4). The leaderboard grows with effort, not grades. No negative points for a failed exam: the tone is supportive, not punitive. Personal predictions (keep your study commitment) stay open until session ends. At closure, the winner is whoever supported the most.

• Passed 3 exams in one week +12.
• Got 30 cum laude +15.
• Passed exam after 3+ attempts +8.
• Progressed to next year +20.
• Studied all night +7 (max 5).
• Maintained stable study routine +6 (max 3).
• Organized group study session +9 (max 2).
• Helped classmate understand topic +4 (max 5).
• Shared notes with group +3 (max 4).
• Encouraged classmate before exam +5 (max 3).
• Celebrated classmate's success +2 (max 5).

When it makes sense to play it

University exam sessions, school test periods, concentrated exam periods. Typically January-February and May-June.
