Purpose of the game
When a couple is expecting, the group of friends and family participate with light predictions: when will baby arrive, boy or girl, how much does it weigh, how many hours of labour. No questions about health or medical facts: just dates, weights, gender. A celebration of pregnancy, not a bet on things that could go wrong.
How to play
When pregnancy is announced, someone creates a community game (Crew with family and friends). Everyone answers 3-5 simple predictions: estimated due date, boy or girl, estimated weight, length, hour of birth. Predictions close on the day of delivery. When the baby is born, one parent or a family member enters the real data. The system calculates who guessed the most. No questions about baby's health, mother's health, or complications: the game is only about verifiable numbers. If the pregnancy doesn't go as expected or there's an unexpected outcome, the game closes quietly and no winner calculation is made public.
